Most of our productions are revue style performances. In the past these have included a Victorian melange WE ARE AMUSED, a revue called VICE AND VIRTUE (an exploration in words and music on the theme of good and evil). We have been DANCING IN TIME and more recently performed a musical travelogue GOING PLACES.
During lockdown we were obviously unable to perform but we were thrilled this summer to take a new show TOGETHER AGAIN to Denville Hall, Brinsworth House and the Star and Garter Home in Surbiton using songs we had worked on during lockdown via zoom with Simon Townley. The programme was devised by Simon and included popular numbers by Sondheim, Kander and Ebb and Rogers and Hammerstein among others. Apart from professional work, many members have affiliations with other groups such as – AWL www.actorsandwriters.org The Comedy Project www.comedyproject.co.uk and CAA www.thecaa.org but concurrently retain membership of ARC in order to continue with singing classes & acting workshops.
